Umbrella

I think its time to share another photoshoot with you, this shoot was based on location styling. I took a trip to newcastle beach, with some of my course friends, unfortunately only to be greeted with grey skies and a very high tide, that didn't actually leave a beach at all! never the less, although we were cold wet and tired, in the end we had some successful pictures, and turned the beach location into an umbrella shoot! see what you think :)

 Burberry must have spotted me at the beach and liked my idea, as they used Umbrellas in there latest catwalk for AW 12/13, i think i would prefer silver foil rain then sleeting wet rain in the future too!

My Future Interior

I have been a bit poorly this week, however it has some how lead me into looking at gorgeous interiors, rather then day dreaming over beaches and oceans for once! I think I am appreciating my bed too much to fantasise about a sun lounger right now! even if it is a gorgeous day in Newcastle! so here are some lovely interiors i found... my house in five years time, no ten years time, watch this space! Backpack

I remember at the age of 11 it was totally acceptable to wear a low backpack to school, you were just a tomboy but it was cool. Then once everyone got older and much more feminine, my owning of a backpack and actual using of it, was often seen as amusing and a bit weird! but now, well... full circle the backpack can proudly be stated back on your shoulders, the Olsen twins, Daisy Lowe and Rhianna have all been papped with there stylish accessories. Cocktail Dress

The following pictures are from a shoot which i took a few months back, I was inspired by a bit of a 60's retro theme. Enjoyably the theme lead me to a cocktail bar, where I ordered lots of delicious and pretty cocktails. I experimented a bit in these photos, creating motion in the background, whilst keeping a clear depth of field in the foreground. I found I preferred most of the outcomes in black and white despite loving the colour of my beautiful bright coral Zara dress... see what you think!

Spent the morning looking into internships in California, I would LOVE to be able to walk round in the LA sunshine spotting eccentric quirky and stylish outfits! Felt it was time for another 'what I wore today', or as I like to call it 'how i wore it today'. The outfit I have on in the pictures below was the ultimate bargain thanks to work discounts, christmas sales, and hand-me-downs! I am wearing an asymmetric topshop dress with a plain t-shirt over to dress it down as a skirt, office shoes and Henry Holland tights.
