Fanny Latour-Lambert

"Its about finding the emotion, ambience and atmosphere", Fanny Latour-Lambert talks about her work with passion, describing herself as an artist and not a photographer.
When I came across Fanny Latour's work, I have to say it was not all for me, with some very extrovert and sometimes creepily styled stories, however... delving into more of her shoots, i found that i loved the detail and vibrance in her photographs. Decide for yourself, these are some of my favourites, her link is attached here: http://fannylatourlambert.blogspot.co.uk/

Filming Day Two 'The Beach'

Soo I haven't yet uploaded the second part of my fashion video photos... following from the paint mess in the studio, we took a trip to Tynemouth beach in Newcastle, as you can see we were lucky enough to get gorgeous weather, which meant the footage turned out really well! When we got there we decided it would be perfect to have a hot guy in the shots... wishful thinking (or so we thought) all of a sudden like clockwork a beautiful beach boy emerged from the stairs! (it was fairytale-like)... we cunningly persuaded him to be in our film, and much to my lovely model (ruby's) delight, we shot them running around holding hands together many more times than necessary! stupidly we didn't get his name, so if you know this guy please kidnap him for me... (P.S if you do actually know this guy, please privately tell me and ill delete this asap! haha) anywayyyysss here are the photos :) x

yes... she is smiling a bit over enthusiastically, but can't blame her ;)

Vintage Sequins

There is nothing quite like a hand-me-down, that is exactly your style... this cardigan was passed down the line from my grandma, to my mum and now to meeee :) I love to be able to wear something and be sure I'm not going to have any matching outfit cringes! and of course i love to be able to wear something that didn't cost me a penny! The dress I have on was bought at a fashion show a few years back and my boots a steal from TK Max! goes to show you don't need to be designer to be unique. Switch buying everything in the high street and try routing in bargain, vintage and charity shops. Definitely worthwhile!

Burnt Orange

Just got my seasonal free pair of shoes from Office :) (advantages to having a job and missing out on the sunshine) I went for a wedge, because i have decided i want to start wearing higher shoes in the day so i can be tall :) and also thought they would look lovely and summery, they are a beautiful burnt orangey/red colour one of my favourite colours so I am very happy :) alsooo... I have been eyeing up Jeffery Campbell shoes for a while now, they do some in the same gorgeous burnt orange and lots of other lovely colours too, if you have the money or are a better saver than me these are the shoes to get right now! I have put the links below x

paintpaintpaint

So.... I have a group uni project to create a 'fashion film' and yesterday was our first session of filming. I loved it!!!! our theme is a hippie colourful vibe (not surprisingly) Our first location was a paint party in the studio, here a preview of some of the still shots we took...

Going Green

Anyone who knows me well, will completely agree if i said, that i seem to walk around with my eyes closed... my sense of direction is beyond a joke, and I have been known not to have noticed when my entire front room was painted a different colour... Quite contrary when I am trying to be inspired by everything around me! The aim of this shoot was to observantly go around newcastle, taking in and picking up on all the green highlights of the city, it was an interesting task and i was pleased with the outcomes. Since taking the photos, it has definitely made me pay much more attention, to all the pretty little details in life that i was ignorantly walking past!
